CORRESPONDENCE - Received a SE Chapter renewal notice from the MRF for $100. Joy Reyes spoke about the importance of supporting the MRF and NCOM..

TREASURER REPORT - July balances: S.E.Chapter Checking - $30,962.14 Toy Run - $10,902..25 - Canned Food Drive - $552.00 Down Riders Fund - $4,907.00 - Membership Drawing - $0.00 Ways & Means - $60.93 - Products - $31.00.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT - 186 on the roster. Membership Drawing - $10.00 #133 Bill Pizanellli (Not Present) $15.00 Next meeting. Craig thanks everyone for helping hm to get a new motorcycle jacket.

STATE REPORT - Joy Reyes spoke abour the Kiddies Flyer Program which seeks m/c stories from kids for posting in the State Newsmag. Joy is stepping down in Oct. and she is healing up after her accident. There will be the Annual Planning session in Oct. Willamette Valley Chapter Poker Run coming up.

LEGISLATIVE REPORT - On June 30 the President signed a memo addressing the “right to repair” your own vehicles act. All of the Oregon initatives failed to get on the ballot. The ban on hunting and fishing bill ,if passed will adversely impact everybody and the meat and fish industries. Evidently the sponsors of this controversial bill want all of us to be vegans or vegetarians.

BIKEPAC REPORT - BP has $8849 in the bank. ABATE will donate $2500 soon. BP needs volunteers to man the BP booth at events. The MRF is working on their plan for 2027. Discussion on Ebikes and Escooters terminolgy. What is the definition of a motorcycle? Oregon classifies the Ebikes and Escooters as motorcycles. Hence, those who ride those bikes need to wear a helmet, have insurance and obey the rules of the road.

EDUCATION REPORT - OPEN - Anybody want to do this?

HISTORIAN REPORT - Claire Dixon is organiziing the historical documents and talked about some SE Tapes that are in a different / unusual format.

SOCIAL MEDIA - .SE FB - 141 FB followers. New idea to have the 2nd Sunday Swap meet become a fine arts and motorcycles type of event. Possible ride in bike show. Possible having Volcano HD work with us.

PUBLIC RELATIONS -. More discussion about the future of the 2nd Sunday Swap meets.

WEBMASTER - Need more clicks and visits on the Mini Mall to improve its SEO ratings.

CHAPTER CHAPLAIN - We are going over the Lords Prayer: “Forgive us our trespasses”.Others have changed “trespasses” to “Sins” Forgiveness is the idea here. The Lord is quick to forgive.

ROAD CAPTAIN REPORT - DJ has a short route and a long route planned.for the ride today.

2nd Sunday Swap Meets - Next swap meet on July 12th at Volcano HD.
Family Campout / Picnic - Sep 26 - 27 at Eagle Creek Overlook Campground.
Toy Run - Dec 5, 2026 - $2500 for a Police escorted Toy Run. We may keep the Toy Run as it has been in order to save money.
